Re: 18" at 15'

When we moved to 15' we shrunk the target to 18" so as Shenandoah and The Irishman said it is theoretically the same as 24" at 21' (or close to the same). My main point was how mental this game is. We should have been able to shoot exactly the same, however, on average, our times were slower.

18" at 15'

The San Juan Shootists shot 18" targets at 15' at our last club match to get a feel for it. We didn't actually have 18" targets we just drew lines on on the 21" targets. Re: Shoot Out on the Little Wolf - a big success

Sounds like a fun shoot. When I've gone to Winter Range (missed this year) they've used that for the first round or two. Makes those early hit pretty important.

Schofield at 4 Corners Territorial/Colorado State

As you may have noticed Biscuit Cutter was using a Schofield in Colorado. It was very cool to see a different gun up on the line. Less cool that he gave me an X with it but hey it's hard to win when you miss the target.

Re: A little local coverage in Pagosa Springs

Bleachers and an speakers are two things that can help spectators. Bleachers, to Possum's point, so that the spectators can see the shooters and the targets better. Speakers so they can hear the announcer. I doubt we ever see people sitting around all day and watching except for friends and family. ...

Re: Snow, Snow, Snow

The sad thing is we need another 120" in up at Wolf Creek to get to average, keep doing your rain/snow dance if you want water in the Colorado River this summer.
