This Virginian was actually born there!! My Dad was stationed in Key West while in the Navy. Two weeks after I made my appearance, he had to report back to Norfolk and his ship for sea duty and my Mom came back to Roanoke. Been to Florida many times, beautiful State!!

Things are looking great for "Showdown In Dixie"!!! We got folks coming in from all over the place! We are really looking forward to playing host to new friends as well as folks that seem like family!!

The Virginia Clubs are working to make everyone feel welcome. No better way to spend the weekend following the "4th Of July" than right here in the birthplace of our great nation. Guaranteed to be a fun filled, patriotic celebration and competition here in the mountains of the Blue Ridge!!!

Also as a reminder.... there will be an RO Class taught on that Friday evening after the Warm Up Match! The fee is $5 and payable at the door. While I am working with the folks in the RO Class, Shotglass Shari and crew will be entertaining folks in the hospitality room at the host hotel. Plenty of refreshment and comraderie!!
