Membership paperwork on Pony Express

Postby Nash Villain » April 25th, 2011, 3:27 pm

That's right pards, just sent out the paperwork to join CFDA today. :D

Now to start looking into all the cool stuff that goes along with Cowboy Fast Draw. I was looking in the mercantile and see different packages that are offered. I will mainly be looking at "A", I think. Anyone got any advice on that stuff?

I cant wait to get shootin'!!

Best, Nash

I kinda chuckled when I read "A": "A - Complete One Lane Practice System (Target not included)" No insults intended toward the mercantile.

Unless you have a plan for a target to shoot at, I would recommend "B". The timer system is new so I can't vouch for it but it sounds pretty good and affordable.

Welcome to world of Cowboy Fast Draw.

Will, Your right, I just ordered package "B" about 15 minutes ago. Pkg "A" doesn't have a target.

Nash, You need the metal target, it has a sensor to register "hits".

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

I probably need to check out A vs. B again. A real FD target would be better than the neighbors cats, haha! Really just kiddin'.

Iam a ways off to ordering such a package but Im determined to and by the end of summer should have a pretty good stash set back. Dont tell the wife...

I am from Nashville, Indiana which is about 1hr. South of Indy. By the club map it looks like Shanes club in KY. is going to be the closest. Im trying to get my ducks in a row to go down and visit it soon but work has me bouncing around with weekends right now. Shane I plan on gettin' a hold of you soon.

Again, thanks to all of you. I'll be back to shoot the bull some more later.
Nash.
