Howdy everyone, I am looking for the CFDA Rugers #oo165 and #00166. That is me and Corkeys life badge #s. I have #CFDA 00368 and it is brand new in the box I will trade for one and I have two CFDA Rugers that have been shot that we could work something out with. Would realy love to have our Badge #s.

Boss,

If you were to sell your CFDA gun....what would you want for it?

I would try to get $800,But I got the ones I have to try and trade for my badge #s. The last one I bought was off gunbroker for $705 and the next day there was another one listed and I watched the auction and it went for $850. I'm hopin somebody in the CFDA has the two I'm lookin for.Me and Corkey are some of the last life members to get the life badge #s in sequence, and they changed the order of numbering the badges.I think the CFDA Rugers came out in 2008 and I think there were only 75 or 80 life members then, so alot of the guns were sold to the public and it's going to be hard to track down the two i'm lookin for. If I can get 00165 an 00166 I will sell the others that I have, CFDA members will get fist shot at them.

I find it necessary to display my stupidity here. What exactly is a CFDA Ruger Vaquero? Does it cime from Ruger with a CFDA serial# ?

Howdy,

Yes it was a special edition of Vaqueros which was basically a New Vaquero with a Old Vaquero hammer in it. They only made 1,000 and the serial numbers started with CFDA. We presented our founder, Brad Hemmah with CFDA0001 and I have CFDA0002. They have become sought after by CFDA members and are becoming a collectors item.
