PoliceOne just released "PoliceOne's Gun Control Survey: 11 key lessons from officers' perspectives"

You might want to share this with your elected officials in all of your respective states.

Here is a link to the survey.

Very Interesting Statistics.

I agree that the breakdown in family values and the absence of passing down the difference between right and wrong from parents to their children is the major cause of violence in our nation.

The media keeps terming it "Gun Violence" for a reason. They are trying to associate guns with violence. The real problem in our society is "Violence", the gun is but a mere tool to carry out an act of violence with. Granted, it is a far more effective tool than a club or a sword in most cases, but this fact is also why a gun is a great equalizer between the weaker and the stronger.

Was the world a less violent place before the invention of the gun? Not hardly. Before the gun it was brawn that ruled. The biggest and strongest dominated and bullied those around them into submission. I believe that after the firearm was invented and developed the world actually became a more civilized place. May sound crazy to some, especially those who haven't studied history.
