Dropped gun procedure
I have read and understand the procedure for retrieving and returning a dropped gun as it is written. My question is in regards to the last step of returning the six gun to the shooter. I thought that I heard that the RO / master should return the gun directly to the holster, is that correct or is simply handing it back to them with the barrel down range sufficient?

Re: Dropped gun procedure
I as a Range Master will holster the shooters gun. Shooter is already nervous, handing the gun to the shooter he or she may drop it again. So why take a chance.

Good call, just want to make sure I go with and not against protocol.
